As the track day season winds down, proper winter storage is crucial for protecting your investment and ensuring a trouble-free start next spring.
Before Storage
- Wash and dry the car thoroughly
- Apply wax or ceramic coating
- Change engine oil and filter
- Top up all fluids
- Fill fuel tank and add stabiliser
During Storage
- Use a battery tender/maintainer
- Consider jack stands to prevent flat spots
- Use a breathable car cover
- Leave windows slightly open for ventilation
- Place moisture absorbers inside
Spring Preparation
